History I, Ryan Parrish, was a working hairstylist for 34 years. I am also the inventor of “the Xzacta Shears Ultimate Scissor Sharpening System”. A while back, I was working on formulating a scissor/ shears lubricant. I came up with a great idea. What if I could make a scissor lube that was also good for the nails, hands, and feet? The first thing I knew for sure was that absolutely no petroleum or petroleum derived ingredients could be in the scissor lubrication formulation as they all dry the skin with extended use. I also made a decision to use “no” animal or even animal derived (like bees wax) ingredients. At this point it was obvious that we were going to be using 100% vegetable ingredients. Let’s shoot for the stars and make it all organic, natural, or wild-crafted. Research soon convinced me that I could do all the above and still have a scissor lubricant that was outstanding. Vegetable derived lubricants were used extensively during W.W. II. And they are being used more and more today and even required by law in some European Countries. Many of the vegetable lubricants are even superior to petroleum based products. So, I could achieve a 100% organic Vegan formula with outstanding lubricating abilities and also incredible on the nails, hands, and feet. Hence Xzacta Shears Scissor Serum was born.

The Ingredients There is an array of more than 20 of the world’s finest 100% organic or wild-crafted oils and waxes. All were chosen because of specific benefits. The proportions are critical to achieve the goals of scissor lubrication, nail, hand, and foot care. Most of the oils are cold processed (extra virgin). Some are expeller processed. The essential oils are all derived by steam distillation. There are a few of the exotic oils or waxes in which native people do use heat as it is the only way to derive them without using petroleum distillates. There are no alcohols of any kind used. This is truly a luxurious product that does it’s job as a scissor lubricant while pampering your skin and nails. You’re gonna love this stuff!

What To Expect? 1. A very pleasant fragrance that will change over about 30 minutes as the different essentials dispense 2. Slightly oily the first minute that vanishes as the oils absorb into the dermis leaving a soft almost chamois-like feel with daily use. 3. Pink glow to the hands and feet as circulation gently increases. 4. Nails that will strengthen and resist chipping and splitting. 5. Scissors that will last longer and cut smoother

Directions: 1. Scissors: apply 1 drop on each side of both blades, 1 drop each screw or nut, work in by moving blades back and forth, carefully massage out on the blades (don’t cut yourself), wipe off excess with a tissue or paper towel. I do not recommend a chamois unless it is new and clean. If you do this daily, you should not get product buildup and no washing should be necessary. 2. Hands and Feet: 3-4 drops and massage in 3. Nails: Apply after polish has thoroughly dried around the nail and under nail tip with a sterile applicator. Nail Techs… a good way to do this is to put 3-4 drop in clients palm and apply with a sterile applicator under nail tip, then massage remaining around nails and hands or feet. If there is no polish used, massage directly onto the nail. It will look like a clear coat for hours and revive with rubbing.
