SHIPPING INFORMATION

1.    We send everything “Priority” mail  with “delivery confirmation.”

2.    We do not insure "hair scissors" unless you request and pay for it.  For those  using  our sharpening service, keep in mind that you would need a valid receipt for your quality shears in order to collect from USPS in case of loss.  Also, we need a copy of your receipt in order to insure .   The USPS will not redeem a claim without a receipt.  So,  if you don’t have a receipt, you are wasting your money on insurance.   While it is rare that things are lost in the mail, the fact is that it can happen.   We will be very upfront with you as well as courteous.

3.  SHARPENING SERVICE   We assume responsibility for loss or damage only while in our possession.  It hasn’t happened,  but should something be lost or damaged while in our possession, we give you two very generous options…  1. We will replace with any of ours.  You just pick them out and we will have them on way, or…. 2.  Upon your sending us a valid receipt of purchase, we will send you a check for the full purchase price.  We would encourage you to replace with our Xzacta Shears as in most cases you will most likely be getting a much superior  instrument.  Xzacta  will run with the big boys.  But, no pressure…it’s up to you.

4.   NEW SCISSORS SALES    We assume responsibility for loss or damage until  the delivery is confirmed.  Should there be loss or damaged in transit, we will send you another pair(s) as soon as we are satisfied that loss or damage has occurred.  This will be done just as quickly as humanly possible.  We like happy, satisfied customers….this is what Xzacta is all about….it’s all about you!

5.   PLEASE SEND  VIA UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE!!!    We have a very secure drop box for that. 

We recommend that you send “priority mail with delivery confirmation”.   It is inexpensive and quick.  Do not mail in an envelope.  Use a box with packing and room for the shears to move a little bit just in case of crushing.  Priority boxes and Flat Rate boxes, as well as labels, are provided free of charge at your local post office.  Certified will slow things down and it is expensive.  With delivery confirmation, you can go online (USPS.com), put in your confirmation number, and track your shipment.  It’s very easy.  When we mail you a package, we will email you the confirmation number so you can track if you so desire.

6.  Clearly identify your shears by placing your name, address, phone, and email inside the package.

7.  We charge a flat rate of $10.00 for shipping.  Whether you send us one pair or ten, it is $10.00.   The only exception to this is if you request to have shipment insured.   Many other companies offer free shipping.  It’s not really free, you will be paying somewhere else!  Not to many things are truly free.
